What You Can Expect
- Old and New Designations on the Certificate: 06Cr19Ni10 = formerly 0Cr18Ni9 = ASTM 304. All three are printed side by side, so customs and design institutes don't have to cross-reference them.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, width up to 2000 mm; cold-rolled 2B / BA, hot-rolled No.1, plus HL / 8K / embossed for finished-surface plate.
- Certificates can be issued to GB/T or in parallel to EN 10204 3.1; third-party inspection (SGS / BV) arranged before loading.
Frequently Asked Questions
Chemically they are equivalent and interchangeable. The difference lies in the assessment standard: GB/T 3280 vs ASTM A240. We print both designations on the certificate so that neither customs clearance nor drawing review rejects the delivery.
We take the stricter value for each element (usually carbon content and mechanical properties) and state both standard numbers on the certificate, so a single delivery passes in both markets.
